How long does the inspection usually take?

Most inspections take about two and a half to four hours. It really depends on the size and condition of the home. We’ll always give you a time estimate ahead of time so everyone can plan accordingly.

What does your inspection cover?

We follow the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, so we inspect all the major systems of the home — roof, exterior, foundation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, attic, insulation, windows, doors, and the interior overall. Basically, we take a thorough look at all the main components of the property.

Can the buyer attend the inspection?

Yes, absolutely — buyers are welcome to attend. The only thing is, if they plan to be there the entire time, their real estate agent needs to be present as well due to insurance reasons. If that’s not possible, we recommend they come during the last 30 minutes so we can walk them through the summary and major findings.

How soon will we get the report?

We always deliver the full report within 24 hours after the inspection. We know timing is important, especially during escrow, so we make sure you get it quickly.
